B5 additional interests

I was just wondering if some of you have other interests in Babylon 5 aside from watching the series.
By that I mean for example Babylon 5 roleplayers, players of the strategic Warhammer-like game ACTA (A call to arms), fanfic writers or anything else I haven't mentioned.

B5 has been my main hobby for years now. I love going to conventions and JMS or B5 guests appearing is my criteria as to whether or not to attend one. Most of the folks here know about my script collection and that I've picked up some small pieces of B5 props or set-design items. And for the last while now, I've been involved with the script books, doing the 'Joe Cuts' and doing some fact-checking for the books.

I've read most of the novels, some of the short stories and tried about half the recipes in the B5 cookbook.

I've glanced at the RPG's and love some of their detail. While I realize it's not canon ( Can I say canon in B5?), It's fun to see some of the backstories others have thought up.

I've gone to a few cons and met some of the actors.

I even got to participate in the Biggs-Carter experience acting classes. Probably my best B5 related memory.

Sure, why not?

It's fun to see some of the backstories others have thought up.

As for the first RPG itself, jms said:

I would love to see a Babylon 5 computer game, specially if it was an immersive RPG. Something like Oblivion in a B5 universe. Just dreaming...

I'm big time into writing Fan Fics in the B5 universe. Haven't had a chance to do any recently because we're in the process of moving house... but I'll finish one one day!!

Nice to see the diverse interests! Feels good to know a little more about you guys ^_^

@Jan: I mainly enjoy role playing and writing fanfics based on characters from those role play experiences (especially Minbari centered). It's fun to further think about an alien species, their culture, their society, the way everything functions in their world etc.

I also enjoy playing ACTA, one of the miniature war games B5 has to offer, with some friends. My partner plays with Vorlon or Gaim, his best friend has Psi Corps and Centauri, his girlfriend is a Shadow hugger and I personally try fending my way with my Minbari armada

Beside that I also terribly enjoy cosplay, but mainly the making of the costumes, the make up and putting it all on. Not really the little shows in front of people, I prefer getting into character and blending in (or at least trying to ;-) )
But that's probably due to the fact that I enjoy live roleplay and improvisational theatre as a whole

If I would have any of the comics I would definitely read them, but unfortunately the little land of Belgium is not often blessed with rarities such as B5 comics.
