  • Babylon 5 costumes

I'd really like a couple of Babylon 5 costumes for Halloween.

Most of the sites I find are dead links, or only have small available.

Surely someone of great knowledge must be here to point me in the right direction. Heck, I think I'd even pay a reasonable amount to have one made.

    Any information would be appreciated!
What a wonderful world you live in. -
Yeah, well, the rent is cheap, the pay is decent and I get to make my own hours.

Dont know if it still exists - in the UK, there used to be a company which made extremely high quality costumes.

Janet Lawn Costumes - their costumes were on sale at the Alliance convention in sunny Blackpool (1997 i think) - they were superb.

Dont know if they still exist - but worth a try.

Hmmm I usually make things like that myself based on similar clothes patterns with the correct adjustments here and there.
I find the B5 costumes rather doable (except from the Narn..yikes!) it's the prosthetics that give me a headache!

My attempt at a Minbari head piece:

read it on B5 or on fanfiction.net

Here's a link to some people who built a Kosh costume. They get pretty detailed into the construction.

I've definitely had interest in this same thing. That's a very cool job of the headpiece, I must say! We're a niche within a niche though so it's hard to find.

@KoshToo: I cannot open the page you have pasted there. Does it have restricted access?

@SmileOfTheShadow: Thanks! I'm working to get it to latex now, I'll share the result when i'm done!
And yeah a niche within a niche, but not entirely lost though!

(the site in is German but the items on the side are pretty self explanatory :-) )
