Is Babylon 5 completely over? Is there nothing left for it in the future? Now I dont know how it ends yet so don't give me any spoilers. I still have to watch two more movies and the last show.

The point of Babylon 5 from the very beginning was to make a *complete* story. As for the future, there may still be new "Lost Tales" projects [only 1 DVD released so far], which take place at various times. I think he was pushing WB to do a 2nd one very soon, but no word on what WB's plan is.
jms when asked a similar question, "is B5 dead?" 5/25/2005:
When I embarked on B5, I wasn't out to create a franchise, wasn't
looking to springboard this out into a zillion other projects...I
resisted merchandising, and made it clear to all parties that this
would be five seasons, no more. Because that's I figured it would take
me to tell that story. The only thing I asked of the universe was that
I be able to tell the story to its end, and that I not die before
finishing it. That's all.
And somehow, both happened...and I'm happy with that.

But you know...as much as I love the B5 universe, I'm also content with what we've got. I'd love to see more but won't pine if there isn't anything else in the future because we got the complete story plus several extras.

How can you have held off on watching it immediately after the previous episode?

With all the junk movies Hollywood puts out you'd think they'd have enough sense to fork out some doe and make a good B5 movie. Heck, for the budget of some of those silly movies we could have many TLT's.
As far as more B5 for the first arc? I don't know. It's hard to beat a masterpiece. A lot of the character changes that made the series flow just happened and helped a lot. How do you duplicate that? I liked the original Battlestar Galactica and even though I don't like all the sexual stuff and cheating in the new BG I think they hit a home run in some other areas, (like CG and making the cylons scary). Maybe someday in 20 or so years someone could remake B5 and probably would be cool. Even with today's new tech the old B5 still holds up pretty well.

OH NO! Not another remake. I just hate remakes. One reason I never even considered watching Ocean's Eleven. And for the better portion of remakes I was proven right that they would suck big time. Can you say: "I am Legend" or "Starsky and Hutch" (BLEH!)?
Also I really can't imagine a remake being nearly as good as the original B5.
And the good thing with TLTs is that we can be pretty damn sure that it's not gonna spoil the original series like the SW Prequels did. What's up Drakh?

I would like to remind you all that WB has already asked JMS about doing a B5 feature film. It was JMS that said no...at least for now. That's when TLT came up and was born. JMS could do some stories in the verse, the fans would get more, WB could cash in and JMS could also get used to making B5 without Rick and Andreas, which is why he wasn't ready for a feature. He couldn't wrap his mind around making it without them yet, which is completely understandable.
Here's hoping for more TLT and soon the feature! If JMS has time, that is!
