[1]Peter David made a date error in the books. Dec. 14, 2267 should be Dec. 14, 2266.
Legions of Fire - Book I - The Long Night of Centauri Prime, page.268 "This one must die." - December 14, 2266.
Legions of Fire - Book II - Armies of Light and Dark, page 1, should be dated December 14, 2266 NOT December 14, 2267.
The test on Daltron 7 is discussed on page 41.
The battle with the Drakh in "A Call to Arms" took place in late December 2266~early January 2267.
The Excalibur and Captain Gideon (i.e. already into the Crusade mission) are mentioned on page 128.
Crusade started in January 2267.Last edited by KoshN; 09-28-2007, 06:05 PM. Reason: error correction and explanation of the Crusade episode order.

"In the Beginning" was produced 1998 after the fourth season.
I for one watch In the Beginning after the whole show (and even the other movies except "A Call to Arms" cause this one is sort of the pilot for the NEXT show "Crusade").
For me it gives to much away from the first 4 seasons to watch it at the beginning.
To me it works far mor better as a prequel in which you finally see the things which were revealed and discussed in the show -> it sums B5 up quite good imo and gives you the drive to start another run through the whole show.
"The Gathering" is the pilot and should be watched before the very first episode.
The other movies ("Thirdspace" and "River of Souls") can easily pushed back after the end of the show -> although "Thirdspace" takes place in the fourth season and "River of Souls" before the last episode "Sleeping in Light" from timeline standpoint, they distract from the pacing and "Thirdspace" has some continuity flaws which weakens the show and/or the movie if put in the fourth season.

Finally, received TLT in the post last week. Pre-order from play.com. Enjoyed it and really hope there are more to come.

Different releases, different retail prices, different promotions in effect... ???? Good question, but regardless... I thought the individual Season sets were at a good price (I had a few already and wanted to add the rest.. AND I missed the Best Buy promotion a few weeks ago...)

Interesting... The set of seasons 1, 2, & 3 costs more then the set of all 5 seasons. And the set of all 5 seasons costs more then what you can buy all 5 seasons individually for. Am I the only one that finds that odd?
