I always thought David Sheridan was a partly Minbari. Who knows the effect his keeper had on him long term - did part of the keepers dna pass to david? And there is an episode in davids future to speculate on.

And the references the man was searching for were 'Sheridan and Delenn'. Who else would do this?

When He is talking about them living on at the end is he talking about Sheridan and Delenn or the Alliance?

It is Just it has intrigued me ever since I watched it for the first time. I may be wrong but hey does that invalidate the question?

Lyta or Talia may live for a million years but David Sheridan is human.

At the end of Deconstruction, JMS said the Humans had evolved into the equiv of the Vorlons.

The Human aboard the Ship is a Ranger ( Badge is a dead giveaway on the side of the ship ).

Could the human be.....*****? Studying Delenn & Sheridan.

    nah...

But you never know JMS has a knack of putting the obvious right there in front of you - the answer may just have been staring you all in the face.

then again I could be wrong.

On this point I still do disagree with JDM a great deal. I think there's still much to DS that we don't know, and only bits of it have been alluded to, inferred, and mentioned even with regards to the keeper. I for one, would love to SEE these events unfold, not just hear about them second hand.

I agree that JMS' commentary clearly indicates that there is more to DS's story than we know, and perhaps even elements of what we think we know aren't as they seem.

Now, whether any of this has to do with TMoS, I don't know. But it is a tale I think will eventually be told in some form...perhaps in part three of the B5 trilogy (my dream still -- and how it could work? Look for my earlier posting on this matter about threads within the B5 universe).

I am by no means convinced we have heard the "David Sheridan story" referred to by TDoFS and JMS's commentary to it. DS went to Centauri Prime because he was possessed by a keeper. Not because he was Sheridan's and Delenn's son, which is the point emphasised by JMS. I think JMS is keeping something in reserve here, for his own reasons, and just telling us that there IS a story there.

Why else would Delenn assure John that "our son is safe"?), that he did something foolish with regard to the Centauri (thus the "scandal" alluded to in "Deconstruction") and that his parents went to rescue him. Although, the implication from JMS's "Deconstruction" audio commentary is indicative of another incident involving David, *following* the Keeper foofaraw. His words were, "[...] There was another incident that occurred still later on in his life, but I ain't telling," or close to it.

but how much has JMS given info to the authors of the Centauri Trilogy, TM trilogy and so on?
The three Dell Trilogies were based on outlines written by JMS and he was involved in editing the manuscripts. While he does not hold himself bound by every detail and addition the authors came up with, the books are considered "canon" on their main plot points, and until and unless they are contradicted on-screen, their telling of events can be taken as "real".

("WWE", ItB) We know from "Sleeping in Light" that Vir is Emperor, the Centauri are back on speaking terms with the Alliance and that David Sheridan is in Ranger training and not a straight jacket - pretty good indirect evidence that the Drakh have been defeated and removed from CP and that David is Keeper-free. It just takes a little reading between the lines to see what had to have happened, and the CP trilogy more than fills this out.

With Cannes here at last the (possible) announcement is nearly upon us.
My theory about the announcement is that it will take place during the festival ( which is why in my opinion he didn't give a specific date but just the Ides of May statement. )

We are still all scratching our heads wondering what it is.

Chances are JMS has thrown us all a curve ball.

Hell TMOS might not even be that relevant.

Yes, but as we know, the novells and what JMS can do with the character are two different things. I'm not completely familiar with the matter, but how much has JMS given info to the authors of the Centauri Trilogy, TM trilogy and so on?

All of that not withstanding, simply listen to JMS on his audio commentary tracks, whenever he has the chance to discuss Claudia -- he positively gushes glowingly over her, which (along with them appearing onstage together at some recent cons and riffing off one another) seems to indicate that they've long since buried that particular hatchet between them.

And which, I'm certain, will translate into a not-quite-insubstantial role for her in the new film. He knows and she knows that the entire fan community has long awaited this rapprochement and an onscreen reunion between she and Bruce and Jerry; and this would be one of the last chances to do so with style and panache, on the silver screen.

To say nothing of the storytelling reasons for Ivanova's presence in such a story (assuming it's the "Telepath War" tale):

Her personal family history with the Psi Corps.

Her established antipathy toward them and the significant emotional resonance that could be played onscreen.

Her captaincy of the EAS Titans, potentially on the frontlines of the war, and the "upward mobility" this could afford many of her friends in the flick.
I'm pretty sure that JMS has little say in who was invited to contribute DVD interviews or commentaries. That said, however, I also am quite certain that if the story JMS wants to tell requires Ivanova, Claudia will/would/has been invited to appear. He's shown that, regardless of past problems, JMS will do what's right for the story.
