This is somewhat of a retraction. I just saw the part of "Dust to Dust" where G'Kar gets sentenced for slapping around Londo. The judge uses the phase "station prison facilitates" as to where G'Kar is going and later on in "Point of No Return" when Garibaldi releases G'Kar we clearly see that G'Kar's cell is in Blue Sector.

Therefore, it is possible that the prisoner in "Over There" is in the station brig. In which case I would remind you that we are only seeing a small slice in time so we cannot possibly know what Minbari would be doing there. Maybe there are some Minbari in the brig and they are being helped by Minbari who work for the station.

Maybe the Minbari was visiting someone non-Minbari? Doing research? Whatever. I would have to watch it again to catch that. I think I was focusing on Lochley and the priest a bit much.

The only thing about the 'dialogue heavy' scene in that episode was halfway through the 'demon's' monologue all I thought was...
'Man! He had to memorize all that speech! Amazing acting ability there!'
Seriously, having done some theater in college, memorizing just a few lines can be tough.

The camera angles during his monologue (which I've forgotten most of since I was watching it very late I must have zoned out for a sentence or two) was a bit distracting after a while. It was meant to be I know, but it could have been about 30 seconds shorter and been just as effective.

I think for effect, watching Sheridan's piece first and then Lochley's would make the focusing in on her face a lot funnier and a bit more startling. I was tempted to watch it in that order to start with but chose differently.
Now the surprise is ruined but that's also the beauty of both episodes, you can watch them in either order and it will dovetail very well.

That's another thing, why those titles? I can't come up with anything better mind you, but it would be fun to figure out (or find out) just what is behind that. Likely just a convenience title that he was working with and then said at the end, 'aw crap, just leave them, it works.'

May have to do with WB's decision to advertise and sell this item as "an original movie". Now they can argue that we see two parts of a single movie, not two stand-alone shortstory-episodes (although this is very obvious, even for non-hardcore fans).

Back from vacation, watched it, loved it. The dialogue was fantastic, the best I've seen on any TV show to date. Both stories, I thought, were very well done. I've seen the Lochley story getting knocked around a bit but I enjoyed the religious themes JMS explored. The Sheridan story was great fun and I had a big smile on my face when he first showed up.

The beyond the rim lines really moved me.

I, too, noticed the lack of extras and it did bother me a little bit but certainly not enough to ruin anything for me. I suspect this problem will be rectified for the next installment.

I just have to wonder what it would have been when Voices In The Dark was made up of three parts.

            Over Here

            Over There

            Over The Rainbow?

            ------------

            Over Here

            Over There

            Over And Out?

            ------------

            Over Here

            Over There

            Over The Moon?

            -----------

            Over Here

            Over There

            Over The Top?

            -----------

            Over Here

            Over There

            Over Exposed?

            Okay I'm done now.

For some reason that made me think of Stealer's Wheel. I have this hilarious image in my head of a TLT DVD menu that lists:

Babylon 5 - The Lost Tales

Play Stuck in the Middle With You
                    - Play Clowns to the Left of Me
                    - Play Jokers to the Right
