Now this is one of the more interesting episodes of the show, as we get to see Franklin's little journey in Downbelow. Franklin is SUCH a player...he always gets the ladies. And in this case it's no different. JMS keeps the reason behind her wanting pills a mystery, which we find out at the end is not similar to Franklin's addiction. I think that's kinda jms' way of saying "don't have a holier-than-thou attitude toward people, you don't know their full situation", which Franklin is often guilty of, nice guy that he is.
The new vorlon also shows up. And he's a jerk. We're starting down the path of not trusting the vorlons..what is it that *they* want?
And another nice part to the plot...they go after the shadows finally with Lyta and some Minbari telepaths. Very important that we found out the Shadows' weakness. No wonder they're trying to control the telepaths.
What's interesting, is I guess JMS wrote the lyrics for the songs she was singing. JMS is a pretty good early nineties pop songwriter! Never knew it! Well..he + Franke are at least. They should be producers!
