And the big climax of the sort of three parter. We learn a lot about Delenn's past in this which gets shown to a further extent in In The Beginning.
Sheridan's speech is a nice one, they break away from Earth. Coulda seen that coming for a long time now, but it's still a big deal. Delenn's speech to the Grey Council is more powerful though. Mira can get really worked up and I think it does the show well.
Jerry Doyle apparently actually broke his wrist in the middle of that fight scene. Ow! The creepy synchronicity of B5...where it was written into the script for a later episode prior to this incident.
Clarke didn't send very many forces to secure B5 though...I find it a little hard to believe that that's all he had at his disposal. I guess he had bigger problems closer to home to contend with.
They really went crazy with the effects on this one. JMS continues to push the envelope as the series goes on. Very nicely built. Glad technology started to get better.
Another funny point to this is General Hague was supposed to be in the episode, but he ditched out for an episode of DS9. So JMS killed his character. That makes me laugh pretty hard.
And of course, the highlight of the episode for me, is Delenn's line at the end of the fight when the Minbari warships show up. Very stirring.
