Gravity/Decks on Babylon 5

Hey - could someone clear something up for me? how exactly does the inside of Babylon 5 look? is it like this, as Babylon 4 seems to suggest -

It's no. 2.
In the middle is a large open space with the shuttle that Sheridan fell out of going straight through the centre.

Just curious, how does Babylon 4 suggest picture 1? Don't we see one of those curvy trick-perspective corridors, and the White Star burn through the outer hull and come up through the floor?

Definitely 2. The shots of the gardens should make this clear enough, but all the corridors we see should be build in roughly the same orientation. For more info, the basic design B5 uses would be O'Neill cylinders.
