Babylon 5 Parody: In The Pirkining

THe funny thing about "In the Pirkinning" was that originally the film had perfect B5 and Trek digital models, but I suppose in order to sell the DVD last year and avoid to serious a breach of trademarked property, they had to redo all the ships in the film make them look less like the real ones. IMHO, the Trek ships are still very close, but the B5 ships (especially the EA destroyers) got a more severe makeover.

So these guys already have a "remastered" version of their film.

One of the good things about the original were the B5 Models.

Yes I have the original on DVD and the ships look very much like the ships that we're used to seeing in both Trek and B5. I've seen the trailer for the Imperial Edition and decided not to order it because I didn't like the way the ships were re-done.
I'm not sure if anyone has this on DVD and watched the special features (actually having to read the special features with the subtitles), but the original concept was to have a tripple Parody by including Star Wars. If you haven't watched the special features I'd highly recomend it. For example on the bridge of the Kickstart each actor was filmed individually, timed and edited in to make it appear that they were all filmed together. Very impressive for a fan based parody film.
