I agree this was more of a season premiere than the last one but at the same time I would link Points of Departure part 1 and Revelations part 2. There was something special about this episode especially the alien device which was used in Season 1 a continuation of The Quality of Mercy and we all know that this isn't the last time the alien device is used so I won't spoil it for anyone else who hasn't gotten that far yet.

Deleen gets out of the Cocoon and GKar gets back to B5 after discovering that he was right and of course for me the most memorable scene in this is Londo talking to Mr. Morden in the Garden maze..watching Londo's expression after he tells Mr. Morden.."why don't do you eliminate the entire Narn Homeworld" after Mr. Morden lets him know one step at a time.

That scene right there to me actually is the beginning of Londo showing that he's scared and forever after this episode does he really begin to change. That scene just gives me the chills! Especially because we see that scene again down the road.

Hands down the better of the first 2 episodes....A+

Yup...I forgot about that line about the Narn Homeworld. Just chillling...and Morden's response even more chilling. I've actually gotten a lot further ahead in watching than I have in writing about them. Sorry for the laziness.

    Group Watch: Revelations

So this episode contains a number of....Revelations! JMS and his clever title schemes (For the record...I really like most of his titles). In this episode we get some Sheridan backstory about Anna and the fact that she was killed on an expedition of some ancient ruins...what could have happened? OMG the mystery! Some pretty nice emotional moments for Boxleitner in this ep. I was pleased with his performance which seemed a lot better than the prior episode.

G'Kar starts to unveil shadows in the book of G'Quan (or J'Quan as a recent Mongoose author spelled it) and becomes a deeper, more religious character, starting his transformation. We see some shadows via his investigation. Scarrry.

Delenn pops out of her cocoon..with some interesting hair.

We see the use of the strange medical device in order to revive Mr. Garibaldi.

A lot happens in this one, more than just the Sheridan Introduction of the last episode. I feel like some of this may have been intended for the prior one, but because he had to introduce a new commander the plot had to be twisted around somewhat. Overall, this one's muuuuch stronger of an episode, and my interest (as well as the gf's) started to go up again.

I think that covers this episode, but this ain't just about my brief thoughts. I need to start catching up to where I actually am watching the show lol..and these won't be so brief.
Working...
