I think I may now have to pick one up...

Expect it on iTunes eventually, when the exclusivity ends...

Bleh? What the hell is this? Exclusivity? Can't tie up the BluRay/HD-DVD plants for half a minute to press out the discs?

Good thing I don't have HD level gear, otherwise I'd have to beat people up for this kind of stupid.

Woo Hoo! My Xbox 360 just might be good for something other than blowing people up! I hope this works out.

I doubt it'll be exclusive for very long. It's probably just much cheaper for them to offer this up as a DL rather than press all the discs. This way they can gauge interest first before investing in disc format.

The press release linked to above said that the releases in both forms will be simultaneous.

Dang, I'll definetly have to do that with my 360. That's pretty awesome, I was really hanging out for an HD version of some sort, and the 360's a pretty cool tool for providing HD content.

Except if you want to play HD-DVD you must purchase a separate HD-DVD player to view store bought pressed HD-DVD's.

The HD games are playable in HD, but they are HD games on DVD media (or in PC gaming 1920 Î 1080 resolution, not HD games on HD media.

I bought the HD-DVD player and at only $140 it was by far the best option out there.
