Does anyone know the TRUTH as to why she left Babylon 5 at the end of Season 4? i have heard a number of differing stories and was wandering what really happened?

If you've heard different stories, you'll need to make up your own mind. My opinion is that JMS's version is the closest we'll get to The Truth, based on the fact that he's had years and years of posts and not been caught out in falsehoods. I gather that Claudia's retracted her 'I was fired' stance since the entire thing went down.

Everybody has their own point of view. A Vorlon once said that truth is a three edged sword, after all.

I never heard any stories. I just assumed that since B5 was originally cancelled in season 4 that she got another job before season 5 got the go ahead.
      Ranger Code

We walk in the places no others will enter.
We do not break away from combat.
We stand on the bridge and no one may pass.
We do not retreat whatever the reason.
We live for The One, we die for The One.

I think the bottom line is that time was short, communications were snarled, each side felt they had a legitimate grievance that the other side was not addressing, and time ran out before any true communications occurred. That happens in the business, and I don't blame anyone.
I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us and part of us remains. Go anywhere in the station, when it is quiet, and just listen. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged. Long after we are gone .. our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains. But I will admit .. that the part of me that is going .. will very much miss the part of you that is staying.
