The book "To Dream in the City of Sorrows" deals almost entirely with the question of what happened to Sinclair after he was shipped of to Minbar, including what happened with his relationship with Catherine. It's written by Kathryn Drennan, JMS's wife, and is considered fully canon by him. The book is still in stock in most places (like Amazon), so if you really want an in depth answer, that's by far the best place to look.

I read on Worlds of JMS that in November 2259, Sinclair led two Rangers (Catherine and Marcus) on a mission to prevent the Shadows from exploiting the time rift in Sector 14. Catherine's fighter was lost in the time rift and disappeared into the past. It is believed that Valen found Catherine Sakai, who journeyed to the same time in the past.Ranger Code

If you do want to disguise something that you think might be spoilerish, you can. Just type [ spoiler] in front and [ /spoiler] (remove the extra spaces) at the end and the reader will need to highlight the text to read it. DougO is still working on getting us a button for that.

Thanks Jan for the spoiler feature here. I haven't seen it on other boards, just a spoiler notice in the thread title. I just noticed on another thread there was a spoiler but nothing but blank space, thanks for help.
I also like to see or read the impressions of new fans when they learn something new. We were all once new to this and it was quite a revelation for me the first time I watched B5 from the beginning. Not putting other TV shows down, but but IMO, I feel that B5 was the best series, especially scifi, every made.
I'm a Star Trek fan also, but Star Trek lost it's place as #1 on my list a few years ago (I don't think it's too hard to figure out what's #1 on my list now). Ever since watching B5, Crusade, and the movies, I've been a kind defender of B5 over at st.com boards. It can be a tough argument sometimes, especially with the DS9 diehards, but with my non-flaming/non-attacking posts, I get very favorable responces, especially from those (Niners) who don't know much about B5.Ranger Code
