And have been since April 2021. It's nice to be able to speculate about it in public now.

Even those who have a tendency to be, err... Late to notice these things Finally joined JMS's Patreon last year. (Late last year, of course.)

As an FYI to those who are Considering joining his Patreon (Synthetic Worlds): Was checking his "levels" yesterday to see what-was-what. If I read it correctly, the $2/month level gets Basic Stuff and immediate access to his B5 Commentaries - which is a pretty good deal in itself - but for access to details on upcoming B5 projects such as this one, vote on selected episodes for commentaries, etc, one needs to be at the $20/month level.

You know, one of the people behind Star Trek Deep Space Nine made a documentary film called 'What We Left Behind'. I have a feeling that this B5 project is going to be something like that. I kind of hope so.

Oooooo that sounds like something I would like very much. To me something like that sounds a lot better than, say, a reboot.

Though SDCC is a little less than 5 1/2 months from now, I'm thinking we've got our first tease for the completed project (AKA B5-A or B5-1):

That sounds interesting. Have no idea what it actually means ... but still interesting.

                      ??????

Was reading about on Wikipedia about The Lost Tales to see if there was any reference to the Third Story ending up in B5Books "TV Movies" release...
...but noticed this instead under "Extras" - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babylon_5:_The_Lost_Tales

The Voices in the Dark DVD contains a certain number of extras, including behind-the-scenes pieces. There also was supposed to be "a number of original short pieces" to be shot in February 2007.[15] There were six "promosodes" written, featuring, among other characters, Lennier. According to Lost Tales producer Samm Barnes, they couldn't be pulled together for this disc, but they can later pull from these unfilmed stories.[23]

                      Video File: https://assets14.ign.com/videos/zenc...06440460-w.mp4
                      (About 3min 12 secs in.)

??? Extreme Long Shot, but maybe something from the "promosodes" was pulled fifteen years later?

I had not heard about them before. Sounds interesting.

My bet is still on an audio drama, but I'd take anything tbh! Very curious to see what this is.
