The previous one was okay. I thought Mira's section was excellent. Pat and Claudia, I found far less engaging, but maybe that's just me. I didn't really need a half arsed meditation class from Pat, it was well meaning, but it's almost 20 mins of her telling you to breathe in and out. I've done some meditation classes, and this just wasn't what I'd describe as a good starting point.

They could easily drop the activities section for more talk or perhaps more fan questions. Mira is definitely a well practiced Yogi though, that much I can confirm. They are clearly still working out what works and what doesn't.

Okay so I asked this over on B5TV....

      Who would be worthwhile?

Who would you shell out the dough to hear from?

      I started my list with....

      Walter Koenig
      John Vickery

Then moved to underappreciated supporting players like...

      Kim Strauss
      Mark Hendrikson
Bill Blair and other underappreciated players

As a JMS NEWS Exclusive ( ) I will add...

      Ed Wasser please definitely!
Maggie Egan (She was great in Galveston)
Marshall Teague (He has been great all three times I've met him)
      Josh Coxx
And actually Robert Rusler because you know the stories behind why he was on the show, but it is really awesome how his story was dealt with in my opinion. I mean Keffer used to annoy me, but the more I've watched the show over the years I realize how brilliant that situation turned out. The way he starts out as a cliche and ends up being a pivotal key to the over all arc. It is brilliant. I hope he knows how important his part ended up being to the story.

Just finished THE ENCOUNTER B5 Event....

It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!! I am sooooo glad I did it. I can't speak for stories others have heard, but I was shocked how much I heard that I hadn't really heard before. Yeah there was stuff about the makeup and the hot tub factory, but there was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more. Disclaimer, there was likely very little they could have done that I didn't like, but there was a lot in this I absolutely LOVED!!!!!

I believe she said her next event was going to be tied to NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1990), but she didn't have the guest names confirmed just yet. The next event is in two weeks so we'll no soon if it will be B5 or the horror stuff. AND she said she is trying to get a STAR TREK Event setup as well.

They also have more stuff in their store now.

Anyway Looney gives THE ENCOUNTER with Billy Mumy and Peter Jurasik HIGH PRAISE!!!!!!

I enjoyed it a whole lot, too! Peter was his usual personable self and Bill's got such a wealth of experience it was wide-ranging and interesting.

Jan, was the replay of the first event a download or just a password accessible video? I am still curious, but I'm not sure I want it.

That is a bit disappointing. I'd rather have a download like JMS has been doing on Patreon. Side note for anyone paying attention, my opinion has been that JMS' Patreon has been pretty outstanding... so far.

I kind of agree, if only because I'm sure to lose the password and won't have it if I want to go back to it someday. As for JMS' Patreon, that reminds me, I need to compare his story of attempted abduction in "Becoming Superman" with what's in the "Changeling" script.

HA! Can't wait to read your analysis.

I am getting a little excited about Pat using this as a merchandise hub. I saw some interesting stuff in the Mumy Mall including a Lennier pic I don't know if I have ever seen before, though the image quality on the site looks a little low. And I think his pricing is actually really reasonable for autographed merch direct from him. Finding it very tough to resist.

Oh dear god, they are promoting Space Command. I'll never get that 1 hour back.

Where did you see that? I was talking about the Roswell Awards readings.

I was just browsing the updated webpage. I guess it's fair game with Mira and co involved, but Zicree's casting choices feel really callous and like yet another way to con people out of money for his terrible sub-standard fanfic films. I still feel really sorry for anyone who sunk money into this garbage.

The real shame is that he had talented people working for him that he himself couldn't live up to. Of course that is a familiar story in Hollywood.

BUT onto the topic at hand, if you are willing to get some emails from Pat about events and if you can still sign up for free I recommend that free event - BUT be warned. My sound quality was terrible. I assume that was caused by my internet connection. If I am wrong then thankfully it was a free event. LOL
