  • Babylon5 25th anniversary hymn?

So I eventually thought to myself: why no Babylon5 hymn celebrating the 25th jubilee?
And I accidentally came across the following song (where the content doesn't matter much ;-).

    But it's a song with a "5" in it.
And it's a song created in 1995 just in the middle of Babylon5:

"I got 5 on it" by Luniz

    Any other suggestions?

    B5-Stefan,

That song is not my cup of tea. I recommend a song from the German band Iron Savior, who for years have been weaving a sci-fi story about a self-aware space vessel called the Iron Savior.

The track below is about a spaceship called the Thunderbird, and you will find the opening of the song very familiar.

      Alpha128, a self-aware space ship.
So, they are perhaps relatives to the vorlons?
But I doubt, that Kosh's interpretation of "beauty" would include this piece of music. ;-)

For me it's pretty impressive though.
      But I'm not a vorlon.

        B5-Stefan,

The whole Iron Savior story is available on the band's website. In the story, the Iron Savior ship was developed by Atlantis 350,000 years ago.

350.000 years in the past is great.
But 1 mill. years into the future is more great.

With the memorable jms end-credits statement:

"DEDICATED TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO PREDICTED THAT THE BABYLON PROJECT WOULD FAIL IN ITS MISSION. FAITH MANAGES."

ps: no one else with a b5 hymn suggestion?
