  • What the Vorlon is he on about?

Has anyone worked out what the writing on the replacement Kosh's ship actually says to sheridan as he's goes strolling on the forward cargo stabiilizer? What is the significance. Also is this Nakesh or Rakesh or whetever the name is that I've heard floating around? Why is it red? I know NOthing.

The other stuff I can't comment on, but the replacement Vorlon is said by JMS to be Ulkesh, who we saw on Minbar during War Without End.

That's wierd. Ulkesh starts off as a benevolent kind of character (with a different voice), even after Kosh's death and then turns into a pretty unpleasent character upon arrival on B5.
Anyway, if they're 'all Kosh' then why is he Ulkesh? Is he Kosh Ulkesh in the way Kosh is Kosh Naranek?

I think the generally accepted interpretation of "We are all Kosh" is that the Vorlons have a sort of telepathic hive mind, so they are all connected to each other to a certain extent. It certainly fits with their philosophy of extreme order, where everyone works as one entity. It also goes along with lines like "You have always been here".

          Relevant jms statements:

          link one

Kosh Naranek and Ulkesh Naranek; Naranek is a
          title/designation.
          link two

When Ulkesh said "we are all Kosh," he was simply being metaphorical, not
literal; too many people took that as a literal statement.
          link three

The new Vorlon was Ulkesh, yes...the Kosh thing was meant in a
Vorlon philosophical sense. They ain't wired up like the rest of us.
          link four

And yes, Kosh and Ulkesh were contemporaries, though Ulkesh was
the more military of the two, very isolationist, while Kosh was the
curious one, interested in the younger races, and more willing to
extend himself (with sometimes unfortunate results). Kosh always
worried what Ulkesh would do without his moderating presence...and
ultimately had to be the one to take him down to allow the younger
          races to step forward.

I think that it translated to "Luke, I am your father"

                "Eat At Joe's"?

I didn't know JMS had a restaurant too.

It clearly states to anyone who can read Vorlon:

                  "Space, the Final Frontier."
"Sector 87 by 20 by 42. At least a dozen ships have reported seeing something rather godlike in the area, and since neither you nor I were there, it must be one of the first ones." -- Marcus to Ivanova (J. Michael Straczynski)

Isn't it 'Here's one to set all you geeks out there nattering'?
Thanks for the answers- they're all out there, it's just I have been too blind to be able to find them!
