Go anywhere in the station, when it is quiet, and just listen. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged. Long after we are gone .. our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains. But I will admit .. that the part of me that is going .. will very much miss the part of you that is staying.

And let me tell you I did thorougly and utterly enjoyed B5.
On the other hand... I know what you mean, when I did watch all B5 from the beginning on TNT I did enjoy it more.
But let me tell you that I also enjoyed S1 and S2 more because I could see where the arc was planted from my knowledge of the latter part of the story.
To me that's another great thing about B5, even if you didn't watch from the start you can get into it and enjoy the story.
But then, ManWithoutNoName has mooted the point.Such... is the respect paid to science that the most absurd opinions may become current, provided they are expressed in language, the sound of which recalls some well-known scientific phrase

I think that, in part at least, that's one of the things that makes B5 as special as it is. Yes, after the umteenth time you watch it you recognize how much repetition there is sometimes but because of that repetition you don't need a 'Previously on Babylon 5' segment' very often.
