Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

              These sound interesting. Unfortunately, I don't have the time at work to lsiten to theme, but maybe I can take them home and put them on a CD and then listen to and from work.

                Downlaoded it in work yesterday, put on portable MP3 player, couldn't listen on the way home as I was meeting a friend and it would have been rude to stick headphones on for the entire journey then this morning, while in a hurry to leave house I forgot the bloody mp3 player
                <sigh>
                I'll listen to it tomorrow.
                BTW on a totally unrelated matter, someone on a buffy and angel forum I subscribe to said they'd watched all 12 (7 buffy, 5 angel ) series twice and wanted something else to look at, my reply is pasted below
                if you enjoy good character development, and characters which grow and change, and have to suffer consequences of decisons taken (often years later) then look at babylon5, 110 episodes, six movies and the (Admittedly flawed by TNT) Crusade spin-off should keep you going for a while.

                  Good for you, Phaze! Never pass up a chance to gain converts! Don't forget to bring them over here when they're well and truly hooked.

                      I think I've been spoiled by the podcasts from Firefly Talk.

                      While there are occational good parts to the Babylon podcasts, there's a good deal of rambling. They could definitely used some defined segments, some boundaries, some structure. The structure may be forthcoming, but it wasn't there in the first couple of episodes.

                      Moving on, in the second episode, it was interesting to hear how disconnected Stephen (and the hosts) seem to be with what all was going on when it came to The Memory of Shadows.

                      It was good to hear that Stephen seems to be keeping very busy these days.

                        It was hilarious to hear how he got selected for the role of Vir.
                        They must have had a good sense of humour. He didn't even have to read for the part after his ... attempt.

                          Yeah, his attitude surprised me, I'd have thought he would have contacted JMS directly (or through his agent) to express dissappointment rather than bitching about it in a public forum.

                              Just listened to #4. They do a tribute to Andreas on it, & as soon as I heard Andreas' voice, I lost it. I guess I won't be able to watch B5 again for awhile. Hearing him playing G'Kar just made me cry.

                              Anyway, Pat Tallman is also on it. You can tell that losing Andreas has been hard for her, but she says that Peter Jurasik is absolutely devastated. Peter & Andreas were great friends. I have met both Peter & Andreas, & both of them were very nice people. So I feel very sad for Peter. I'll be thinking about him.
