  • Doctor who/ crusade weapon link

This mayu go better in off-topic, I'm not sure. I was watching "The Christmas Invasion" doctor who special yesterday (I'll white out the rest for spoiler purposes When the weapon fired at the end it was the same as in crusade - it came from several outer points to form a central beam shaft which then shot upwards destructively - did anyone else notice this or see similair weapons used. Just wondering if JMS came up with that idea or if it has been around for a while
    So, any thoughts?

"There are no good wars. War is always the worst possible way to resolve differences. It degenerates and corrupts both sides to ever more sordid levels of existence, in their need to gain an advantage over the enemy. Those actively involved in combat are almost always damaged goods for the rest of their lives. If their bodies don't bear scars, their minds do, ofttimes both. Many have said it before, but it can't be said to enough, war is hell. "

It's been done before, most memorably with the Death Star firing sequence in Star Wars.
