My understanding is that he won't be in the Season 5 commentary.

The actors and jms do not get paid for being a part of the interviews and commentaries, etc ... It's possible Jerry is giving back, because he enjoys it and enjoyed working on the series. Whenever I've seen him at conventions, that's been the feeling I get from him.

::laughs:: Of all the B5 mix-ups over the year that have happened, I think that's the only one I ever seriously was weirded out by, unsure whether it was supposed to happen or if it just some sort of fluke.

              Here's the quote from JMS

              ***************************************

(sigh) Our rotoscope EFX guy was waiting for a bunch of PPG EFX to finish rendering in that battle scene, and was bored, and like many such EFX types, filled in the eyes of Garibaldi with weird stuff while waiting around. When the other scene finished rendering, he got out, believing that he had not saved that one frame. Unknowingly, he had.

Nobody caught it until after broadcast.

              We talked.

              jms

              ***************************************

Of course, it's not really that unreasonable. If you had a PPG rifle going off in such close proximity to your eyes, they would pick up a lot of reflection. Just think of it as a REALLY bright flashbulb.

::laughs:: Yeah I remember the post, and it's not surprising, tis some of the stuff computer graphics people do ;P

Regardless, it's a bit of a moot issue as it was fixed before the first rerun.

                  WRTWORTHY,

If it is true that MR. JERRY DOYLE receives no payment for his involvement with BABYLON 5Ö DVD commentaries, then I respect him all the more, especially given that CHIEF MICHAEL GARIBALDI was involved with the story right from the pilot telefilm.

Dude, what is it with you and your posting style? I have been wondering this ... There is no need at all to put names in all caps, to post in red, to put the little "TM" etc ... So why do you do it? All it does is make your posts annoying and lose you points in the end.

The name is OmahaStar, not OMAHASTAR.

As you are fully aware, American Flagg is a comic series. That has nothing to do with this message board or any other Babylon 5 message board.

                          Now behave yourself or leave.

                            Malcolm's style

Hey, the guy's posting from the Court of the Crimson King. What other font would you expect?

If anything, his posts remind me of ad copy or the synopses on the backs of paperbacks:

CAPTAIN JEAN LUC PICARD must face an enemy that threatens to destroy the STARSHIP ENTERPRISETM

I don't even know how he gets those TM's in there, but it's not worth getting irked over.

Well, I think the "point" is that you'd communicate better if we didn't have to read your posts like it was the back of a cassette tape for an 80s movie. Or as B5O sez, the back of cheesy sci-fi paperbacks.

"Score points" is akin to being taken seriously, as it were. At best, what you're doing is annoying, at worst - well, you have OmahaStar wanting you to get lost, that's a fair worst case.
