  • The Be Five - Trying to forget

Does anyone have texts for this CD or could you help me to verify what I wrote by ears.
PS. I don't have CD in mp3 and couldn't share it out

Welcome to the forums, VladTE. I hope somebody can help you with the lyrics.

Please don't offer to share files here, though. This isn't legal and, since at least one of the actors still sells these CDs at convention appearances, doing so could cheat them out of money that's rightfully theirs.

    Thanks,

      I'll share it privately.
Besides this CD is labeled as "OUT OF STOCK" on every site where I could find it... and I think it'll never be released in Russia. So I can't help but have it in mp3.

PS. I wish I could go to convention and buy something...

The CD in question is listed as available through Galactic Gateway.

Which, by the way, is Pat Tallman's and Jeff Willerth's site. (I believe)

Like the above linked to amazon.com is worth a look there is even a copy that was autographed by Bill Mumy I got my copy off his site and I got a another copy off amazon as well .I enjoy the CD so I hope you can get from either of the sites listed .You might want to try Banes and noble in the US now I haven't checked in a while but they had some copies available .But it might be expensive to ship all the way Russia but it is worth a look And BTW I love your avatar.

edit ON above post I just checked B&N's website and I couldn't find anything on the cd there sorry .

Sharing any kind of music that is copyright protected is forbidden,no matter if the CD is in stock or not (which appear it does).

And its fake!! B5 was not JUST a TV show

I asked you for help not for the lesson of morality. I don't want legal CD because I already have its mp3 copy. I don't think you'd buy CD if you earned as little as we do. So thanks for help...

PS. Satai Delenn you was the only one whos voice didn't "sound" disapprovingly. Thank you...

The only reason we sound disapproving is because we are disapproving. It's simple, and the same as was taught to you over on B5TV: what you've done is steal from the people who made the show we all enjoy. Then you came here, offered it to people, made excuses as to why you downloaded and then get offended when we don't much like what you've done. We don't care why you downloaded it. We don't care how much you do or don't make. You've shown disrespect to the people who made the CD, and to us, but expect us to help you?

                  Think again.

I need texts only to translate them. There are many fans here in Russia who want to know them, wants to read books and comics. I'm trying to give those to them and no one pay me for this work. So live here fisrt and then be disapproving...

I see the sense of entitlement has managed to find its way to Russia.

I'm leaving the thread open in case anybody can help with the lyrics but any more offers to distribute stolen music will be edited. Just as you've edited your original post. Thanks.

You can't have it both ways. It doesn't matter where you live or what you earn. If someone owns something and they choose not to sell it to you (or not to sell it at a price you can afford) you do not get the right to acquire it illegally. You're not talking about something you need to live, you're talking about entertainment. Also, I'd say you did ask for a morality lesson by coming to a public forum and offering to illegally share files. Also, after being politely asked by the moderator not to offer to share files, you respond with "I'll share it privately." which is still an offer on this forum. I admit that I am among the disapproving.

I can only judge by what I am reading here on this thread.

You have a computer, with either an external or an internal modem, which is internet ready, and some sort of subscription to allow you accces to the world wide web, so I am confused. If you have all these things then you have exactly the same access to all the on-line shopping that the rest of us have, and you cannot get anything that you want? How so? Most places ship internationally or it is just bad for business, so why do you think that you are missing out?

Up until very VERY recently my computer was second hand COMPAQ with a crappy sound card (a cut priced cast-off from and adult I.T. education facility), my monitor was from the same centre and had inner parts so old that every page was stained blue in one corner and red in the other, my internet conection was pay-as-you-go-dial-up and as for CD and DVD burners...well you can just forget it.

Luckily, I have been able to move on from that. It may have taken some time but I have done it. I didn't whinge about how poor I am, how little money I earned and how bad things were where I live and so I don't actually have alot of time for those that do.

If you wish to tak about B5 and related subjects (even unrelated ones) then feel free and you will be welcome by me and all the others with open arms and warm smiles...but do keep the offers of pirate recordings and black market knock offs to yourself please.

                          Rant over...

Actually, the guy has my sympathies. I've known people who've lived in Russian, and most of the population earns peanuts. In that situation, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't download something for free off the internet. Have any of you guys ever actually lived in poverty? Where's your sense of compassion and sympathy? Why so quick to moralise and condemn someone?

Because it's theft, pure and simple. Vlad doesn't need the music to survive so there's no excuse for stealing.

As I stated before, I'm only leaving this thread open in case somebody can help out with the lyrics. One more post about whether downloading is 'okay' will cause me to lock the thread.
